A member asked:

I popped my blood vessel in my eye from loosing my grip on a copper pipe and it popped, is it safe to continue to wear my contacts or should i wait to put them back in until the vessel is healed?

Ok if not infected: A red eye should not stop you from wearing contacts, but if there is infection in that eye, thus could be painful and harmful. It was not clear whether foreign matter had gotten into the eye grounds or not, hence my concern for possible infection. Call your doc’s,office if the eye is infected or apply for virtual consult from this service for exam/treatment.
