Oral contraceptives: If you are on the pill, then vaginal intercourse will most likely not result in a pregnancy. The whole purpose of an oral contraceptive (the pill) is to prevent pregnancy. It changes the hormones in your body so that ovulation does not occur. If you take the pills daily at the same time, the pregnancy prevention rate is upwards of 96-99%. Wearing a condom will help prevent against STD's.
