My son has diarrhea for the 3rd time in 2/3 weeks. the first two times, i gave him zofer which i had from a previous visit to the emergency room with him. i dont want to give it to him again. his 2yrs6months. what can i do?

Vomiting?: If he is not vomiting, the zofer is not indicated, unless there are further details not described. Monitor his temperature, provide clear liquids, avoid dairy products except for yogurt. A pediatric probiotic may be helpful, and watch for any blood or mucus. Encourage fluids to avoid dehydration. Many GI illness may have a duration of 10 to 14 days.
