Im 13 week pregant and my cervix length has reduced from 3.5cm to 3cm in last 13 weeks. got to know cl will reduce in pregancy and should be less than 2.5cm to avoid preterm delivery. so in coming weeks will this cl effect my pregancy by reducing?

Cervical length ?'s: It is not unusual for the cervical length to decrease during pregnancy, however, at "13 weeks" of pregnancy, the growing fetus is not generally the cause. If you have had no prior premature labor, the majority of pregnancies to not result in an "incompetent cervix" which results in premature delivery or surgical correction. Continued U/S to follow cervical length is advised.
