Probably normal: It is not uncommon to have some variation in the menstrual cycle. If you are late, and have a negative pregnancy test, it probably does not mean anything bad. Even mental stress can cause variations in the cycle, but that is not usually a chronic problem. If your cycles are at least 21 days and not more than 35 days apart, you are likely normal.
