Sun allergy, sensitiv: Your immune system is reacting to skin cells injured by sun exposure. Raising body temperature with hot showers causes you to have an allergic reaction. Avoid sun light and shower with cool water. You could consult a dermatologist to rule out lupus or other skin disorders.Topamax may play a role in sun sensitivity. Your pharmacist may have more information on this topic.

Find an alternative: Were you told about adverse effects such as risk of heat stroke in children, kidney stones, cognitive issues, speech problems, tingling of extremities, drowsiness, narrow angle glaucoma? We have so many far better medications these days such as CGRP antagonists, taken once monthly. OTC agents work well. See your neurologist and get updated.
