Hemorrhoids : Even though it is external, it may be an internal hemorrhoid that has prolapsed to the outside. Best avoid witch hazel and use a hemorrhoidal steroid cream. If no pain or bleeding it should resolve on its own. Most common causes are diarrhea or constipation so both to be avoided. If not gone in a week see a colorectal surgeon.
