Menorrhagia: If you have been having periods that last more than 10 days for several months, I would see your gynecologist for advice and possibly medication to help regulate your periods. S/he will also check to see if you have lost more blood than you should. If this is the first time this has happened and the bleeding is tapering off, you may just watch. Continuous bleeding - seek ER or urgent care.
