Long period: If your period is a heavy flow and lasting 4 weeks so far, you will need to be examined to check for fibroids, cysts, hormonal imbalances, etc. Start with an office visit. Depending on how heavy the bleeding and the duration, it can contribute to low blood count (anemia).
