Side effect: Rash or itching is near the top of the side effect list for this medication. Please call your prescribing doctor today to discuss an alternative, as gradually worsening effect may progress to systemic allergic reaction. Treating a side effect with another medication is an option if this is the only medication for you, but I believe a change to one that does not make you itch is a better choice.
