Many causes: More details would be helpful, but COVID 19 screening, and an evaluation is recommended. Ruling out cardiac conditions is suggested and an EKG 12 lead and pulse oximetry test are usually available at the clinic.

This can be a sign of a heart attack pneumonia or acute restaurant distress syndrome from Covid or pulmonary embolus. Patients with the symptoms should seek immediate medical attention at a hospital emergency room for life-threatening causes
