A member asked:

When to go to hospital if you were poisoned by food?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Food poisoning : Most of the time you just wait it out and keep hydrated. Avoid dairy for 3 weeks. In rare cases, you may need antibiotics.. A few things are concerning: Lose or less urination, blood diarrhea, dizziness, or major underlying illness (cancer, immune suppression, alcohol abuse, weakened ) are all concerning. Only rarely would I send someone to the hospital with diarrhea. Consult a doctor.
