What helps with chronic constipation in the long term?

2 things: There really are only 2 things that will help for long term, and it's very important that you do them together. INCREASE YOUR FIBER AND INCREASE YOUR WATER INTAKE! If you do one without the other, you will be disappointed by the long term results. Fiber is also best from food, and doesn't have to taste bad. Popcorn is an excellent example. Drink at least 100 ounces of water or juice daily...
