Consult doctor: Don’t really know without speaking with you directly on a consult. Most sinus “infections” are viral or allergic and antibiotics are not helpful. Often respond to topical decongestants, steroids and/or antihistamines. Check with your doctor

Persistent symptoms: It would be prudent to see your Physician or a specialist ENT to determine if a second course antibiotics would be prescient. You should also see your Dentist or a specialist Oral Surgeon to be evaluated for TMJ dysfunction or impacted wisdom teeth. First diagnose the cause, that will dictate appropriate treatment. Indiscriminately throwing pills at symptoms, as you have seen, is ineffective.
