See a doctor (ER?): A fracture of the bone with “wrong healing” is 1 possibility. Another, even more serious possibility, is a clot deep within the vein of the leg (DVT - deep vein thrombosis). This clot CAN break off and travel to the lung (pulmonary embolus). Potentially very serious To ER now. They’ll probably do a x-ray of your bone and an ultrasound of your leg Good luck

ER: Since this swelling is new onset - it is really important to get evaluated at an emergency room to determine if it is being caused by a blood clot.
