I'm on 10mg lexipro for 7 days, then my md wants me to take 20mg thereafter. i have noticed foggy headedness and slight nausea, no vomiting but sour tummy. is that normal?. seems to subside as day goes on. wondering what 20mg will do errr?

Lexapro: That can occur with Lexapro or any of the SSRI medications. Recommend that you take it with food to reduce GI upset. I have some patients add in probiotics to help reduce symptoms. GI upset may increase (at least temporarily) with increase in dose. Please let the prescribing provider know as one option would be to increase dose more slowly.
