Prediabetes: Hgb A1c between 5.7 and 6.4 is considered pre diabetic. Bear in mind that not all prediabetics go on to actual diabetes. Do you have a family history of type 2 diabetes? Are you overweight? Do you get regular exercise? Take prediabetes seriously. Avoid concentrated sweets(candy,pastry,syrups,etc) Cut down on starches. Check blood sugar and A1c regularly. You should have no organ complications
