Is drinking a bottle (750ml) of white wine (13% alcohol) a day too much alcohol? my mom will sometimes drink a bottle a day for 3 days straight but will put a whole bunch of ice in it. does that change anything? other days she wont drink at all?

Alcohol consumption : The ice changes nothing. A bottle of wine per day is too much and can have a multitude of bad medical consequences.

Recommendations: Some guidelines recommend that an adult male maximally consume 2 glasses of wine daily, and an adult female, 1 glass of wine daily. A full bottle far exceeds this, and points toward alcohol abuse. Maybe tough to address, but unless modified, at the least, is a threat to the liver.
