Likely unrelated: It is likely the kid was incubating a gut virus during the office visit. It is often not evident on exam. Handel this as you would any such gut virus (they usually have 2-3.yr), Sips of rehydration fluid in spoon fulls may stay down & can be increased if tolerated. may stay down If the kid is peeing every 6-8 hrs he is hydrated. If he spooks you contact his doc.

Continue feeding: Continue to nurse, and if the symptoms persist, discuss Pedialyte clear solution for 24 hours, if formula fed. If nursing, continue to nurse. Keep the baby well hydrated and watch for fewer wet diapers as a sign of dehydration. Provide rice cereal, bananas and reduce cheese. Provide a baby yogurt daily as a probiotic. The symptoms are not likely related to the vaccination. For fever 101 -M.D.
