High kappa: Your elevated kappa serum free light chains&high kappa/lambda ratio is characteristic of plasma cell bone marrow pathology seen in multiple myeloma, AL amyloidosis or monoclonal gammopathy of uncertain significance. A hematologist oncologist is best to direct further testing such as bone marrow biopsy, skeletal xray survey, whole body PET scan, urine electrophoresis & immunofixation for diagnosis

Need more info: A third of people your age presenting for care have an abnormal kappa/lambda ratio. About 90% of the time it is due to elevated kappa. Your doctor can order a protein electrophoresis to find out if you have an abnormal protein. I would like to add that an abnormal protein does not always warrant treatment. See a hematologist. Wish you good health!
