Not Sure: Unless you are having nerve type symptoms or numbness in your leg which may prompt an EMG or nerve conduction study, I am not certain why you would be referred to a neuorologist without furhter info. Your knee may require a scope to evaluate the chondral/cartilage defect better. It sounds small so may be amenable to debridement and microfracture. Probably next step.
