I burnt my hand & leg with sulphuric acid. i went to er & they applied burn gel and wrapped affected wounds. next day,they removed the wrap & told to leave the wounds to dry & gave an ointmen for the open wounds. i am in pain and not sure what to do?

How much pain?: You may take paracetamol, no more than 4 g/day, no alcohol. If that does not make it tolerable, you should see a doctor. Be sure to apply the antibiotic cream you were prescribed. If you develop excessive discharge, puss formation or swelling at the site, see a doctor. Drink enough water and juice to keep your urine mostly colorless. If you can, increase your protein intake to facilitate healing.
