Oxygen : How are your oxygen levels during an activity? Sometimes there are drops in oxygen levels down 30 points while walking in COIVD 19 patients To answer your question specific to your concerns, you need to contact a doctor. Relative oxygen levels are different depending on your lung health and age.

COVID 19: I agree with Dr. Romano. I would not touch giving medical clearance to fly to someone without having a lot more information. Important question that remains is what are your oxygen levels with some level of activity? I would encourage a post - COVID 19 consultation with you own medical provider.

You HAD hypoxia: That diagnosis is what put you in the hospital and its resolution was the goal for discharge. Knowledge that you have a big drop in O2 saturation with exertion would be useful but if you are otherwise healthy, and can attain 98% O2 saturation on room air, you're probably fine. Airline cabins are pressurized with normal O2 levels but air travel spreads the disease putting you and others at risk
