I have a question. i am taking adderall 10 mg in morning 10 mg at noon instant release. i have some old percocet pain killers from an accident i had and my back is bothering me again. is it ok to mix the two. if not if i stop taking adderall that day?

Ok to mix: Assuming you take adderal for ADHD be aware that there are drowsy side effects from the opioid. Other than side effects there should be no drug drug interaction of significance at regular doses. You did not ask, but should,you be taking the Percocet at all? You said ‘old’, which means the medicine may have lost potency, or may n9t be appropriate for this pain. Why not try NSAIDs or Tylenol?

Older meds: The FDA uses expiration dates on prescription medication for good reason, and would not use an "old" narcotic. Bring to a drug store or police station and dispose. Am very uncomfortable with your considering self treatment with controlled substances. Your doctor should get involved.
