Object fell on big toe 3 days ago & toe dark blue and very painful.xray yesterday shows tiny circle at inside base of digital phalanx that might be separate,but ortho dr not sure and if a break.am i ok if wear boot & have no more medical treatment?

Fx big toe: Standard treatment for a fractured toe is merely taping it to next toe. I'm sure the orthopedic MD that attended to you would give you some treatment information by phone and this would be a good idea since he/she knows the full extent of your injury.
