A member asked:

If intracranial pressure increases by doxycycline, how long will it take to return to normal after stopping the medication?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Atypical reaction: Increased intracranial pressure is not a typical adverse side effect if this drug. Assuming it represents an unusual reaction, you should have been given with antihistamines, steroids, or both to limit the reaction. Reversal should take 24 hours or less if treated, without treatment could take 1-3 days. Good luck
