Shoulder blade pain for the last 4 days. the pain sometimes radiates close to the sternum. have history of svts. bp 88/67 with pulse 78. ox levels 99. no shortness of breath, nausea. headaches are on and off. ?

Repeat BP: An EKG 12 lead, drinking fluids and repeating the BP reading is recommended. Keep a log of your BP to review with your physician. If the BP remains low despite fluids, please see a cardiologist right away.

Low BP: Are you taking any medications to prevent episodes of SVT that could be lowering your BP too much? Is 88/67 your average BP? This is quite low even for a young adult. In view of this & the discomfort in your scapula and near the sternum, I recommend evaluation in the emergency room ASAP as an active cardiac process may be responsible for your symptoms & low BP. At the very least notify your MD.
