See below,: Sperm cells are formed inside of seminiferous tubules (ST) in testis. Sperm originates from spermatogonia (germinal epithelial cell) lining ST. Spermatogonia proliferate and differentiate through definite stages of development to form sperm. Sperm cannot replicate themselves.
