A member asked:

My doctor left practice & what do i do? this is disappointing during a very difficult year. the practice will not tell where he went. i had a good rapport for 5 yrs. & and would like to continue if still practicing. is there a way to find out?

Be persistant: If a physician departs the practice, for whatever reasons, the practice seeks to keep the patient's revenue stream and provides no information about how to find the physician. Your are on your own for detective work. I would suggest mailing a letter to the physician marked "personal, please forward" in red ink and see if she/he responds. Also, state Medical Board will get a change of address.
