I had tests done before which shows a normal heart, dr says its anxiety but i haven't done the stress test , today i was taking a 3 flight of stairs and my heart was beating so bad and it skipped a beat, took a beta blocker can a panic cause this?

Panic : The brain and the heart are tightly linked together. When the brain thinks DANGER it sends stress signals to the body to get out of here. Or get ready to run like your life depended on it. This includes making you anxious. The stress test does not test this. It tests the ability to pump really fast and hard by putting you in a treadmill till heart goes as fast as it should for age

Yes.: At your age, it is unlikely that you have heart disease causing symptoms unless there are significant risk factors. Not knowing your detailed history including results of prior tests, it is difficult to comment further. Please get an evaluation including a thorough history, exam and review of poor tests.
