Can be: Some women even skip menses occasionally and or have changing flow patterns. Egg release does not occur in some cycles & this can alter the pattern as do other issues. Be patient & it should sort itself out.

See below: Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor.
