I'm 17 and i'm wondering about a small patch of darker skin on my vulva. is it possible to have birthmarks on the vulva? i can't remember it appearing. i'm also not sure how to go to a doctor about it because i live in canada + have no family doctor?

Dark spot: Seek recommendations A physical examination is required to view the "small patch." It would be prudent to see a Gynecologist for an examination.. Seek recommendations from friends/relatives/coworkers that you respect, then call the office of your choice for an appointment. When you do see the OBGyn ask for General Physician referral. Both should be active in your health care.
