A member asked:

If their is bleeding in the white part of your eye and blood pressure is high at 154/84 should we worry ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No, but get help.: Bleeding in the white part of your eye could be unrelated to your blood pressure and may be benign. Sometimes it results from a minor trauma to the eye which is unnoticed at the time. Get examined by your doctor including an examination of the back of your eye(retina). An ophthalmologist also be of help. The BP you recorded may be simply due to anxiety, but if you have hypertension get it treated.
