COVID 19: It can be near impossible to distinguish COVID 19 from influenza. If you face is turning blue, that makes one wonder if your oxygen levels are down. Please get urgent care. Get urgent care for difficulty breathing, blue lips or face, persistent significant chest pain/ pressure or new onset confusion.

Immediate evaluation: Have testing for both influenza and COVID screening. Both viral infections may be associated with respiratory complications, but COVID 19 can have a prolonged course and rapid deterioration associated with moderate to severe cases. Your description is concerning, have a pulse oximetry test and chest image. Monitor temperature, drink fluids, and rest until seen.
