Im on pradaxa, recently did a ct scan and had to get a catheter in my arm. there is now a bruise in that area, is it possible to have vein damage from the catheter? looks like a normal bruise, showed up 2-3 days after the ct scan,yellow/blue color?

Watch and wait: It is likely that the damage from catheter resulted in the bruise. A bruise normally goes through color changes. If the bruise does not get bigger, does not ulcerate, develop a discharge and you do not fever, you may watch and wait for it to heal. Wish you good health!

Not a problem : Merely bleeding locally at site of inserting catheter. Not unique or hazardous but just a residual bruising
