? Thrombophlebitis : Meaning inflammation of the vein at the site of venipuncture, not uncommon, especially when having too many things going on. Kindly see your doctor or go back to ER for evaluation and management, all the best

Phlebitis?: By your description, that vein could either be clotted or infected, or both. Apply a warm soak to it a few times a day for now, but have your physician take a look at it to see if you may need an antibiotic.
