I am in the process of taking the nuclear iodine scan for my thyroid and currently on a low iodine diet. i am a 22-year-old everyday user of cannabis. can i smoke cannabis before my nuclear test, or will there be adverse effects?

No effect: There is no interaction listed between cannabis, iodine or thyroid function. Tests should not be affected. However, you need to think about why you use cannabis daily. What symptoms are you treating, and can they be treated in a safer more appropriate way...
