Hi, my 5 week old baby has a temperature of 37 degrees celcius with a slight cough, is this normal or does she need treatment?

NORMAL TEMP: The cited temperature is normal. A cough at that age is usually due to exposure to dust/fumes/perfume/ or other such irritants in the air of their environment.Nasal washout with saline drops & suction helps most. Removing any obvious airborne irritants also helps.

Normal: 37 degrees is a perfect temperature for a 5 week old. Is a completely normal temperature. Slight cough can be winter dryness, mild reflux, other irritants like smoke/dust. Make sure room is clean and humidified, no smoking indoors. As long as baby is feeding well, nothing to worry about.
