Thin skin: Chronic sun damage thins the skin and makes the capillaries more fragile and susceptible to trauma. In addition there are many medications that thin the blood such as fish oil, aspiring, etc. If your blood work, CBC and differential are normal this is likely the cause. Always important to discuss this finding with your primary care doctor for a complete workup though.
