What is the difference between chronic rhinitis and chronic sinusitis. are symptoms similar? sinus pressure, post nasal drip. some congestion that comes and goes. drainage is clear when there is any. would nasal endoscopy see sinuses for bacteria?

They can be similar: Chronic rhinitis can sometimes lead to chronic .sinusitis. Yes, symptoms can be similar. Clear drainage which comes/goes often means an allergy. Endoscopy is usually only done when the symptoms are more severe and last for many weeks....and have not responded to different treatments. It does not always mean an infection. I would recommend you seeing an allergist for an evaluation.
