Been losing my sense of smell. goes in and out and i'm not sure if covid is something that takes your smell away completely or if it could be something else. not sure where to get a covid test and if it is covered by my current plan. smart classic?

Can be related: Besides a fever, another common symptom is loss of sense of smell from covid. No one knows to the extent that your sense of smell will be affected. Usually a good sign for recovery is your symptoms of comes and goes, nothing is definite but with all viruses, drink a lot, tylenol or aspirin.

COVID 19 testing: Suspicion for COVID 19 is higher if you have at least 2 of these symptoms: temp of at least 99.6, Cough, Shortness of breath, Chills, Shivering, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat or new loss of taste or smell. Contact your health insurance agency directly to find out what your coverage is.
