Covid-19: Many patients are exhibiting few or no symptoms. If you have flu like symptoms, including cough, fever and esp tight chest it is very possible that you have Covid-19. You can choose to be tested, or just treat the symptoms at home. Keep an eye out for increasing chest tightness, blue lips, Oxygen level under 93. If these arise, see a Dr.

Symptoms: Rest, hydrate, quarantine & eat healthfully. Consider use of acetaminophen, saline for nasal irrigation, decongestant or cough syrup. Get urgent care for difficulty breathing, blue lips or face, marked persistent chest pain/ pressure or new onset confusion. You would need a medical referral to be COVID 19 tested in South Africa.
