Variety of issues: It would be important to know how long this is going on because a recent issue is less concerning than a long-term problem. Do you drink enough water? Are you a smoker? Is there a medication that you take or inhale that is aggravating things? A low pitched voice indicates swelling of the vocal folds. Bottom line, you need to see an ENT and discuss with the doctor.
