Common: Lymph node enlargement likely has no relationship with your menses. It generally reflects activation of the serum cleansing function it does by a local skin irritation near the area or such things as bug bites or infection on that leg. The normal cycle of increase/decrease in size involves ~ 3 wks time. If it continues to increase in size or becomes painful contact your doc. If not be patient.
