GYN: If you are being seen by an ob/gyn for pregnancy, consult with them as soon as you can. Sometimes hypertension can cause a conjunctival hemorrhage (blood vessel break) and headache. Since hypertension can be serious during pregnancy you should be evaluated as soon as possible even if you have a simple headache and spontaneous broken blood vessel, it is better to be safe.

Subconjunctival heme: Your description sounds like a subconjunctival hemorrhage which is very common. The most common cause is dry eye/ ocular surface irritation which would explain your headache. I would try using artificial tears and observation. If you develop decreased vision or increased pain, you should see an eye doctor.
