Painful Testis: Acute pain in testis can be due to infection like mumps orchitis, varicocele, hydrocele, abscess, torsion related ischemia, inguinal hernia and epididymitis etc. You should go to nearest facility where a doctor can see you and ultrasound with doppler can be done. in case of torsion, strangulated hernia and acute mumps orchitis, prompt medical attention is warranted to save testis and fertility.
