Variable severity: Follow your physician's advice, but if you have any trouble breathing, head directly to hospital. If available, get a home pulse oximeter, as that will let you know status of your oxygenation, and if that drops significantly, a cause to seek attention. However, many cases are mild and over within 2-3 weeks.

Recovery: Rest, hydrate, quarantine & eat healthfully. Consider use of acetaminophen, saline for nasal irrigation, decongestant or cough syrup. Get urgent care for difficulty breathing, blue lips or face, marked persistent chest pain/ pressure or new onset confusion.
