Something is wrong.: Please ask your pcp(primary care physician) to look for sinusitis. Many other things can cause anisomia(loss of taste and smell) but look for common things first.

Sinus problem: Often times this is related to a sinus problem. Significant drainage or congestion can cause smells and tastes to become obscurred....Muted. Rarely this can also be a problem with the brain - seizures, mini-strokes, etc. See your doctor, this can probably be fixed quickly and easily.
