Missing info: Were you just exposed or test positive ? How accurate is/was the test you took if any ? The US CDC has stated the contagious period extends 7-10 days from the start of the illness. Whether or not this is accepted in South Africa is not info we have access to. Some work site require a negative follow up test before allowing a return to work. This is not considered necessary by many specialists.
