I have gastritis caused by h. pylori. ive had it for years now and ive learned that h. pylori if left untreated can cause an autoimmune disease called autoimmune gastritis. if this is true how long does autoimmunity take to develop with h pylori?

Negative h pylori, dont take pain medicine maybe Motrin 1-2 a whole year, negative AMA test. Gastritis diagnosed endoscopy. What else could cause it?
